aideerlight is a lighting design brand founded by Zeng Lingyun. Since 2015 it has specialized in architectural and commercial lighting design, serving clients worldwide on the strength of China's design and supply-chain capabilities, and is currently carrying out on-the-ground practice in Central Asia.
I'm Zeng Lingyun, a lighting designer. Eleven years, from China to Central Asia, doing one thing — making spaces seen correctly at night.

Eleven years. Every project actually built, and actually lit.
Since 2015 I have been designing lighting for interior
and exterior spaces: architectural lighting, commercial spaces,
hotels, exhibition spaces, and cultural tourism landscapes.
Everything from those years is collected here, in Work
and Timeline — year by year. They share one thing:
they were actually built.
Lighting design is different from other design work.
However good a drawing looks, if the light lands in the wrong
place, the colour temperature is off, or there is glare,
it is all wasted. So most of my time over these years has gone
not into drawings, but into making sure the work actually
came out right on site.
Eleven years, 50+ completed projects. That number cannot grow
overnight — which is exactly the point.
Part Three
Why Central Asia
I spent eleven years doing lighting design in China, backed by China's mature design and manufacturing capabilities. At a certain point, I wanted to take that capability further outward — not just finishing projects, but carrying Chinese design and manufacturing to more distant places.
I also wanted to go further myself — to see a different world, to live through different experiences firsthand.
Central Asia is my first step out into the world: a place to genuinely put down roots and build a body of work from zero.
Scope
What I Do
Design
The core of my work. From concept and schematic design through detailed design and construction drawings — fixture placement, fixture selection, color temperature and CRI, control systems.
Prototyping & Manufacturing
I have factory partners and long-term production relationships in China. When a project needs non-standard fixtures, I can prototype, customize, and supply at scale.
On-Site Support
I can take on construction directly in China. Abroad, a local partner usually handles construction while I provide detailed drawings, on-site guidance, and commissioning oversight.
Where I Draw the Line
In Central Asia, I don't act as the local general contractor, and I don't touch local licensing or compliance — that's where local partners are stronger. I do design, and everything needed to get that design built correctly.

How We Work Together
If You Have a Project
Hotels, commercial spaces, building facades, tourism landscapes, private residences — all of it. Tell me the location, scale, and stage of your project, and I'll tell you what I can do and how I'd price it.
If You Want to Partner
In each market, I work long-term with only a small number of strong local partners. I provide the design and supply chain, you handle local delivery, and every project is jointly credited as "aideerlight design × your company's delivery." You use my design capability and a decade of built work to win bids; I rely on your local execution to get projects finished.
